Fans of former UFC middleweight champ Israel Adesanya are quite familiar with the superstar’s eccentric tastes and personality. His love for anime and a penchant for over-the-top walkouts are just a few aspects that set him out amongst the huge list of fighters and stars in the promotion. But when news of his signing up with the subscription-based platform OnlyFans was made public back in 2021, it came as a shocker even to die-hard fans of the fighter.
Now after quite a while, Adesanya during an Instagram ‘Ask me Anything’ session has shared an update on his account with regards to the platform. He also shared what his plans are going forward with it.

Also, the New Zealander is not the only fighter to have a presence on the platform. UFC former women’s Strawweight champion Jessica Andrade too was a member of the website and had shut down her account permanently.
Israel Adesanya responds to questions about his OnlyFans account
During a recent ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram, one fan questioned the former middleweight champ if had an OnlyFans account. Adesanya, in response, shared a screenshot of his profile, which interestingly showed that his account was set to invincible mode. ‘Stylebender’, along with sharing the screenshot, also pointed out how he was the first male athlete to have signed up on the platform before its popularity boomed.
“I was thee first male athlete to jump on here, before it was cool.” Wrote Adesanya.
The 33-year-old made sure that he mentioned the potential of the platform beyond the usual adult content; which currently dominates the platform. ‘Stylebender’ even added a cheeky remark at the end, pointing out how he uses his account now.
He wrote: “I saw the potential past s*x work. Now it’s just for research.”
Now, this clearly shows that the former champ has now stopped uploading on the site considering it’s only for ‘research purposes’ as he claims.

Adesanya undoubtedly had his reasons for believing that the platform could help him connect with his fans. Reportedly, his exclusive content was mostly his training and behind-the-scenes before big events. These naturally would have been a treat for his die-hard fans to watch.
Adesanya was among the first MMA athletes to join the platform
Remarkably, the middleweight was among the first athletes to have signed up with the platform. Following him, many other personalities were also eager to join; considering that it was a great way for fans to have a sneak peek at what it’s like to be a top fighter or an athlete.

Adesanya‘s bio also clearly summed up his content.
“This is where I’m posting personal pics and clips and sooooo much more from the archives that I’ve never posted.” Stated his bio on OnlyFans.
