Sometimes, NASCAR drivers have other duties to perform, aside from racing. One of them is appearing in commercials and participating in publicity stunts. Once, Hendrick Motorsports legend, Jeff Gordon made an appearance in one such publicity stunt. It is safe to say that he had a lot of fun along the way, even if the other participant did not. As it happened, he went in disguise and took a salesman for a spin in a Chevrolet Camaro.

Unfortunately for the salesman, Gordon took the word ‘spin’ a bit too literally. What followed next was a montage of death-defying stunts, which definitely warranted a Code Brown. At one point, Jeff Gordon pulled off a tire-screeching U-turn, while his shotgun-sitting passenger was panicking. He even had a close call with another car, causing it to swerve out of the way. The #24 driver was having the time of his life, but the same could not be said for his passenger.

What else happened to Jeff Gordon during the run?
Eventually, the Hendrick Motorsports star pulled off more stunts on the road. Safe to say, those moved would definitely not be approved under normal circumstances. Finally, he had enough of tormenting his passenger and screeched to a halt, to his companion’s relief. Unfortunately, things threatened to go wrong when the salesperson threatened to call the police. This forced the disguised Gordon to rush over and try to placate the irate man.

In the end, he knew that the jig was up, so he hurriedly said that it was a prank and removed his disguise as proof. Unfortunately, not much else was known about the aftermath of the prank, whether the man backed off or carried out his threat. One thing is for sure, regardless of the threat, Jeff Gordon had a lot of fun driving the Chevy Camaro.
