From new formats, new policies, the PGA Tour Studios, and TGL to their search for a CEO. Even when it comes to the PGA of America, fans have witnessed major developments in the past few weeks. the most notable one being the compensation provided to the Team U.S. players for their participation in the Ryder Cup.
Now, there is another development a the headquarters as announced by the organization. As per the latest reports, the PGA of America has hired a new CEO to replace Seth Waugh. A familiar face in the office, he is the former president of the PGA of America; Derek Sprague.

Sprague, who was last seen as the General Manager of TPC Sawgrass will be promoted to the position of the CEO. He had been holding that position for over 7 years before this announcement was made. He was also the Managing Director at Liberty National Golf Club for 2 years & General Manager at Malone Golf Club for 2 years & 3 months before this.
Only time will tell if this step will give the American League an advantage over their Saudi Arabian rivals.
