The Buffalo Bills must be feeling envious of the Kansas City Chiefs now that they realize passing on Xavier Worthy might have been a huge mistake. The season opener showed that the rookie receiver is a jack of all trades. He can rush, he can receive and most importantly, he’s fast. So why did the Biils really pass on Xavier Worthy?
Well, they did so to move up 38 spots up from a fourth-round pick to a third-round pick. They also swapped seventh-round picks to make the cascade. Bills GM Brandon Beane thought at the time that this move didn’t “matter.”
“I could see them taking a receiver, but you don’t truly know,” Bills GM Brandon Beane said after Round 1. “But where they were moving from, I don’t think it mattered to us who they were picking. … We were picking at 28 and we weren’t near 28 first-round grades, so you know going in, there’s not necessarily a great chance that you’re going to pick there.”
Now, the fans think that it’s all a big joke. Watch this space for more updates!
