Nobody expected Tom Brady‘s decision to come out of his retirement in 2022 to lead to his divorce from his wife Gisele Bündchen. And much to the surprise of NFL fans, it was Gisele who was affected the most. However, she was just seen enjoying small moments without saying anything in the public, since her separation from the QB. After months of silence, she finally opened up about the divorce in her latest interview with Vanity Fair.
The Brazilian seemed to bounce back from her divorce, incredibly, along with getting back in touch with her roots with multiple visits to Costa Rica and her native land, Brazil. However, underneath all that, she felt that the separation from Brady was the “death of her dreams.” Notably, 2022 was not the best of years in the couple’s lives.

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady announced his first retirement last year. And 40 days later, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller announced his return. Gisele, allegedly, had a problem with this decision, especially after she had put her own multi-million dollar fashion career in the backseat for him and their kids, Benjamin and Vivian Lake.
Brady took an 11-day break from the Buccaneers’ pre-season training camp to attend to his marital problems. However, that didn’t do much, as the power couple divorced only a few months later in October. The duo took to social media to declare their amicable separation with a co-parenting plan in place. And Gisele took the time after the divorce to make a stunning comeback to the fashion world she had put on hold.
And even though Gisele gave out the impression of being relieved after the divorce, it was quite a difficult time for her.

“It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know? I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it’s beautiful to believe in that. And I’m so grateful I did,” Gisele told Vanity Fair’s Michelle Ruiz from the Nicoya Peninsula. “You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred percent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end up the way you hoped for, and worked for, but you can only do your part,” Bündchen said, in the interview with Vanity Fair.

After the couple’s divorce, Brady has remained off the dating market, except for the occasional Veronika Rajek nudging from his fans. However, Bündchen has had her fair share of romantic link-ups. It started with the Brady family’s Jiu-Jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, and their frequent trips to Costa Rica. However, the latest rumors surround Miami real estate mogul, Jeffrey Soffer.

Soffer is also an acquaintance of TB12 and things will surely get a little awkward between the two during Benjamin or Vivian’s next parent-teacher meeting. However, Gisele denied the rumors. “I have zero relationship with him in any way,” she said in the interview.
