The Los Angeles Dodgers dominantly won the 2024 World Series, partly due to their ace Jack Flaherty, and his excellent Game 1 start. Flaherty was a 2024 trade deadline acquisition and he more than proved the Dodgers right in acquiring him.
But now he’s a free agent, and he can sign with any team he wants. Teams like the Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, and Detroit Tigers all make plenty of sense as potential landing spots.
Flaherty’s contract value was rumored to be in the $60 million range. In fact, Spotrac projects Flaherty to sign a three-year, $63 million deal. But FanSided’s MLB insider Robert Murray expects Flaherty to land a contract much more valuable than that.
