When the LA Coliseum race took place for the first time last year, many people had mixed thoughts about the race. The race had taken place as an exhibition event to hype up the season for the fans. Some people thought it was good enough, whilst others found it mortifying. However, Hendrick Motorsports driver, Kyle Larson, seemed to differ from many, after he recently stated how he loved the race at that venue.

Larson said, “It’s something I never thought that I would get the chance to do. Yeah, I’d never been to this place before we got to race here last year. So I never thought that I would have a reason really to come here, but getting NASCAR to host an event here was kind of what I thought time maybe a once in a lifetime thing. So to get the chance to come back again to my home state. And race against a lot of tough competitors. Race in front of a lot of my friends and family is pretty special.”
