Dale Earnhardt Jr. is 48 years old, worth over $300 Million, and hosts some of the most popular NASCAR podcasts. Of course, the young (er) Dale has built quite a reputation for himself. So it’s no surprise his birth announcement resurfacing thrilled the fans.

But it left plenty of fans wondering a lot of things about his life, and his actual name, too!

Dale Jr. had a good career racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. Although he didn’t get any Championships or had the same successes as his run in the Nationwide Series (now known as the Xfinity Series) where he won two titles. Still, he was a well-respected driver for his skill, and not just for being the son of a legend.
So, when a Twitter user, Brandon Miller, posted his birth announcement, it left plenty of fans wondering about many facets of Junior’s life. In fact, the fans even questioned his real name, that is Ralph Dale Earnhardt Jr. and even the fact that his sister is actually older!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. revealed how he felt when he lost his father
Dale Jr. got his entry into the NASCAR Cup Series because of his father’s team, Dale Earnhardt Inc. He won and set his career in stone with the team. But everything changed when The Intimidator passed away. Junior revealed, “I drove his car, he owned my car, I was racing for him, and I was winning. We were celebrating, we got tight. We weren’t real tight for a long time.”

But he completely lost his way when he passed away. Earnhardt Jr. confessed, “I thought, now I’m not sure you know what I’m gonna do? I could screw this up, right? I don’t know that I have the wisdom and the ability to do what he did.”
