Cameron Brink’s Stanford Cardinal are having the best season so far. They have a brilliant 19-2 stat along with an 8-1 tally in the conference. Currently occupying the fourth position in the AP women’s basketball polls, their fandom is getting fierce and formidable.

One of their million supporters came forward and shared the excitement about their next games this week. And that had the fans getting ready with snacks and cold drinks for the upcoming matches.

The Cardinal star Cameron Brink’s mother Michelle Bain-Brink shared the post from WSlam on her Instagram story. Known for her ardent encouragement to her daughter and her team, the post reminded everyone of what was to come ahead this week. And it elated the Cardinal fans even when they thought of their next two games.
The poster had their head coach Tara VanDerveer along with three of their best players – Kiki Iriafen, Cameron Brink, and Jzaniya Harriel. The poster was etched in the deep red color of Stanford and had all the fans drooling over the brilliant graphics, especially the quartet that has led the Cardinal to amazing victories this season.
For the unversed, the Cardinal are playing their next game against the University of Southern California Trojans at the Maples Pavilion. The Trojans occupy the 15th spot in the AP women’s basketball rankings and this will be a great opportunity for them to stun the Stanford and improve their positioning. Whereas for the Cardinal it will be a big match and will test their stars.

On Sunday, the Cardinal will lock horns with the UCLA Bruins. The Bruins are posited at the 7th spot in the AP women’s basketball rankings. Fortunately, for the Cardinal fans this game much like the previous one will also take place at home. And if they want to watch history in action, then they can treat themselves to tickets. The duo of Iriafen and Brink will be in the spotlight.
How has Brink and Iriafen performed?
VanDerveer gave the Cardinal fans one of the biggest gifts this season when she surpassed legendary Coach K as the most winningest coach in the NCAA D1 history. And the latter end of it has been possible due to Iriafen and Brink. While Iriafen has smashed a team-high of 19 points per game, Brink stands next to her with 17.5 points per contest.

The upcoming matches will be one of the best in the regular season and will make it clear if the duo can stand ground against both the top-ranked teams. Hopefully, for the Cardinal fans, they will taste victory.
