On the other side of the field, the Cowboys’ season went off the rails early when quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury. Backup QB Cooper Rush has stepped in admirably at times but hasn’t been able to consistently keep the offense afloat. At 5-7, Dallas still has a faint pulse in the playoff race, but they’ll need a win on Monday to keep it alive.
Micah Parsons and the Cowboys’ defense have shown flashes of brilliance, keeping them competitive in games they otherwise might have lost. Will the defense rise to the occasion once again against the Bengals?
